Come to YCP Omaha's May Executive Speaker Series! Karly Jurgensen-Daniel will be giving her presentation on Music & Miracles: Using Your Gifts to Glorify God.
Karly Jurgensen Daniel has been delighted to discover that Omaha is a wonderful place to live out her professional music aspirations. When she isn’t touring with Grammy-award winning band Mannheim Steamroller, the Berklee College of Music graduate plays the piano, sings, and writes music for some of life’s most sacred occasions.
She recently started a non-profit called Peaceful Preludes, which she lovingly refers to as her “heart project.” This free service brings gentle live music to the ill and dying, and their loved ones, in an intimate and special way. It was inspired by the beautiful time she spent playing at her grandmother’s bedside in the days before she passed away.
Karly’s musical journey has been filled with both triumphs and tribulations; her faith, accompanied by many serendipitous encouters, has fortified her along the way. With humor and grace, she shares stories about the miracle moments that helped her find her way, and about how letting God work through us is the true secret to success.
